Introduction to Contextualising Studies: Design Thinking.

For my Contextualising Studies I will be reflecting each week on aspects of Contextual design and what aspects inspire me within my own Applied Arts practice. I will be comparing what my ideas of a subject were before the lectures and how they've changed afterwards.  I will compare this to my own work and how I can take theories into my projects.

I will be sharing my thoughts and opinions on existing designers, past and present and identifying appropriate sources and referencing them. I want to discover and unfold various manifestos and culture changes that have effected design, this will allow me to become more aware in my own practice as I will find new sources of information allowing my studio projects to develop into more professional subjects with deeper concepts.

I hope to find what I'm interested in from each lecture then open my mind to something I didn't know before this module. I hope to keep an open mind throughout this brief to develop an understanding of past theories, manifestos and cultural differences.
I will be jotting notes down throughout my lectures to hit on key points that struck my though process or imagination, even questioning why things happened will allow me to become more knowledgeable this year!
